Sookio offers content support to Techfugees

Since we sponsored and attended the first Techfugees Cambridge event in July 2016, we've been keen to continue our support. We're helping the Techfugees team organise and share their content so it can reach a wider global audience.

Techfugees is a social enterprise coordinating the international tech community’s response to the needs of refugees. Set up in September 2015, they organise conferences, workshops, hackathons and meetups in around the world in an effort to generate tech solutions that can help.

Since the first Cambridge event we've kept in touch and in autumn 2016 we kicked off ongoing content support on a voluntary basis.

The Techfugees movement is growing, and with this comes great content contributed by people around the world who are working on practical solutions to the refugee crisis, from the UK to Jordan to Australia.

Blog posts, press releases, newsletters and other content needs to be organised and shared so it can reach a wider audience.

We're helping the team tidy it all up and put it into a consistent format, so it can be added to the Techfugees blog and shared on the social channels and through email newsletters.
