Case study: HDC

Huntingdonshire District Council (HDC) is a local authority in the East of England, responsible for the provision of public services for a population of approximately 170,000.

The Covid-19 pandemic posed many new challenges to the marketing and communications teams within the authority.

HDC needed a strong Shop Local campaign to inform of the safety measures, engage the community, and encourage the public to shop on local highstreets, while supporting towns and businesses within the district.

Sookio came to the rescue with the right messaging, inspiring content and a consistent but flexible support. #ThinkLocalHunts campaign ran from October 2020 to March 2021, before being extended into the summer.
